Estimator/Scheduler

Are you a methodical individual who can work to tight deadlines with knowledge and experience of bespoke fire doors and joinery manufacturing? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, experience estimate/schedular to join a dynamic established manufacturing company that is continuously growing and expanding.

Salary dependant on experience

• Prepare tender bids for contracts with Local Authorities, Public and Private clients
• Interpret client drawings and schedules into a format for manufacturing
• Manage contracts from order to final delivery
• Produce an agreed schedule of the client’s requirements
• Ensure requirements are fully understood by both parties- technical issues, lead times agreed, delivery requirement
• Order appropriate ironmongery and materials for specific scheduled jobs

• Enthusiastic and punctual
• Good level of Maths and English
• Excellent communication skills
• Estimating and scheduling experience in joinery and manufacturing
• Be able to pay close attention to detail and have a methodical attitude to ensure accuracy
• Be able to read architect designs and schedules
• Put client drawings and schedules into a format for manufacturing
