Frame profiles & materials

Frame material specifications, minimum section sizes and other criteria apply in the production of fire rated door frames and doorsets. All of this criteria is met and incorporated in the design and manufacture of all Bespoke door frames and doorsets.

Three standard variations of frame types are available from Bespoke in any type of timber that is desired.

  • A one piece rebated frame section is the most commonly used and can be manufactured to exact standards in varying wall thicknesses and frames depths (standard size being 95mm x 32mm finish). The edges of the frames are finished with a 2mm radius. Frames can be manufactured in widths up to 200mm and extension pieces can be supplied for larger wall depths.
  • A traditional style frame (lining) with a planted stop can also be manufactured to exact standards in varying wall thicknesses and frame depths (standard size being 95mm x 32mm finish, 12mm x 32mm loose planted stop). The edges of the frames are finished with a 2mm radius. Frames can be manufactured in widths up to 200mm and extension pieces can be supplied form larger wall depths.
  • A split frame design with integral architrave(s) and planted stop can be manufactured for varying wall thicknesses. This design allows an unlimited range of wall thicknesses (partition widths). The edges of the frames are finished with a 2mm radius.
